Large images are downscaled before tracing for speed, then output as a scalable viewBox SVG. Photos still trace better as flat illustrations than fine detail — for true photographs, consider keeping the raster instead.

PNG, JPG, and WEBP conversions run entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. The image never uploads to a server, which keeps the operation fast and your file private.
WEBP to SVG online with ImgShifter
WEBP to SVG handles a modern variant of the lost-logo problem: the graphic you need to scale was saved off a website, so it's a WEBP - and design tools want vectors. Your browser decodes the WEBP natively, then the VTracer engine (WebAssembly, running locally in a worker) traces it into real, editable SVG paths.
Transparency works in the trace's favor: a logo with a transparent WEBP background produces clean freestanding shapes, with no background rectangle to delete afterwards. As with all vectorization, flat-color artwork - logos, icons, badges, lettering - traces excellently, while photographic WEBPs produce heavy posterized output better served by staying raster.
The result opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma, or ImgShifter's built-in SVG editor for recoloring and cleanup. Decode and trace both run on your device; the page works with the network disconnected, which is also your verification that nothing is uploaded.
