TIFF to PNG Converter
Convert TIFF images to PNG for lossless web-ready output.
Your image is uploaded to our server for this conversion. Files are deleted immediately after processing.
This is less private than browser-only tools because the file leaves your device. While in transit and during processing it can briefly exist on disk or in memory on a third-party server, may be visible to network or hosting providers, and is no longer fully under your control. For sensitive images, prefer a browser-only tool when one is available.

Useful to know
TIFF in the wild
TIFF is common in print, scanning, medical imaging, and archival workflows. Files are large because they store image data losslessly along with layers, metadata, and color profiles.
JPG vs PNG output
JPG dramatically reduces file size for sharing and the web. PNG preserves every pixel exactly, useful when the result will be edited further.
TIFF to PNG online with ImgShifter
TIFF to PNG is the conversion for material where every pixel is the point: scanned contracts and certificates, digitized line drawings, archival documents, lab imagery. PNG is the only widely supported web format that is both lossless and browser-displayable, which makes it the natural destination for TIFFs that need to go online without any compression damage.
Browsers can't open TIFF at all - the format's native-library requirements (compression variants, bit depths, multi-strip layouts) are why this tool routes through the ImgShifter conversion service rather than running client-side like most of the toolkit. Transfer is encrypted and the file is not kept after the conversion completes.
The output preserves text edges, hatching, and fine lines pixel-perfect - the content JPG compression visibly degrades. For photographic TIFFs where file size matters more than lossless fidelity, TIFF to JPG produces dramatically smaller results from the same source.
